Aurora - Oceanis 411 Clipper.

“A comfortable and well-equipped yacht with a great cruising layout. Looks the part too, with her smart blue hull and full teak decks.”

New chart plotter, vhf, mainsail and furling genoa for 2015 season, new cooker and sprayhood for 2016.

NOTE!
This yacht is now managed by our sister company
Seascape Scotland Yacht Charter Ltd

The Oceanis 411 has a super cruising layout with four comfortable sleeping cabins – 3 doubles plus a twin – plus a large dining area in the saloon that easily converts if needed, to a further double bunk. Two good sized heads/showers, a good sized chart table and a well-equipped & spacious linear galley, complete the interior.

With new electric windlass, powerful engine, furling headsail and main, and all sail controls led back to her large secure cockpit, she is as easily handled by a smaller crew as she is comfortable with a larger one. She is a great yacht to charter the West Coast of Scotland.

Interior fully refurbished in 2014, with all new upholstery.

Warm air heating is provided by a powerful Eberspacher hydronic unit, with hot and cold water at the galley and in the two heads/shower compartments.

Charter coded for up to 10, she carries full navigation equipment including twin GPS plotter units, one at the helm and the other at the chart table.

Her 550 litre fresh water and 150 litre diesel tanks, give her a good cruising range

Recent charterer feedback:

Seven of us had an excellent week on Aurora, pottering about the Firth of Clyde at the end of April 2016 in the non-seasonal snow, hail, strong Northerly winds and sun. The boat is well equipped, well kept and sails to order; the heater kept the cold at bay. Wilson is very straight forward to deal with and I would not hesitate to use Sailaway Scotland in the future. Paul Jones, April 2016

Aurora was the best equipped yacht i ever chartered. New sails, perfect safety and navigation equipment and even the galley was appropriate to prepare an original bavarian "Schweinsbraten" (roast pork). Martin Straeten and friends chartered "Aurora" for a week in August 2015.
The weekend went very well.  Aurora was great and we're already keen to sail again next year and would be delighted to charter again from Sailaway Scotland. Drew was extremely helpful and great to deal with.  Aurora was very well equipped and more than met our needs.  She handled very well in all conditions.
John Wrinn and friends enjoyed a long weekend on Aurora in September 2014.

Aurora is in excellent condition,  very well equipped and all fixtures and fittings in good shape.  She moves very well under engine power and is easily handled under sail, with the in-mast furling main  and furling head making handling very easy. The high boom makes movement around the cockpit safe, and with spotless interior and roomy cabins she is very comfortable and a real pleasure to charter. We would be happy to take her out for another trip. Merv Hardy chartered "Aurora" in April 2014
